The Balcom Care Home is a five-bedroom residence nestled in a well-established Riverside neighborhood, and is easy to find. We have been a licensed board and care facility for elderly ladies since 1974 and believe that we have some unique characteristics that enable us to ensure consistent quality care:
* We are a family owned and operated facility. The same caretakers are maintained, which means that we get to know each guest and her needs very well. There is also less confusion and greater sense of trust and security for our guests.
* We have a large, landscaped backyard with some home grown vegetables and fruit trees.
* There is a large sunroom for leisure, indoor activities.
* Our family room is furnished with television and large-print reading materials.
* Our meals are made with special diets in mind, such as low sodium.
* Transportation arranged as needed to local, nearby hair salons and medical facilities.
* We are close to hospitals, medical facilities, and a shopping center.
* Short excursions are periodically arranged for our guests; other activities are arranged according to the guests' interests and abilities.
* Our care and monthly rates include, at no extra cost, the following:
-Bathing -3 meals, snacks -single/shared rooms
-Laundry -medicine administration -additional services
*We also accept guests with walkers or canes

Balcom Care Home
Residential Care Facilities for Elderly (RCFE) are known informally as Board and Care Homes.
We are a residential facility specializing in Assisted Living Care for elderly ladies. We provide service for those adults 60+ who do not required skilled nursing or acute care, but may require assistance with activities of daily living. For the comfort and safety of residents there is a non-smoking policy.
You are part of our family where every ones birthday and holidays are celebrated. Family and friends are encouraged to visit and take residents for outings.
